When I woke up on February 14, 2008, I never expected any gifts from anyone because I already got used to spending Valentine’s Day with a chocolate which I bought. I went to school early because I wanted a free balloon at McDonald’s. So I got what I want and as I entered the campus, I saw a lot of boys holding flowers and chocolates and a lot of girls receiving those valentines’ gift. I felt a little jealous but not as jealous as last year because as I’ve said, I got used to it already. So I went to the de brito classroom to get my math book. Then my best friend was looking for me and told me that he had a surprise. He let me wait until the bell rang so that the people in the corridors would go away. When the bell rang, he gave me 3 Cadbury bars and I said thank you and headed to the classroom. That afternoon, for the first time I went home with chocolates which were given to me. Though it wasn’t from my crush, I’m still thankful that someone remembered me on Valentine’s Day, my best friend.
