My New Hobby

I'm really not into reading last year. I've never finished a single novel in my life. As a matter of fact, I never made a book report properly. But all of these things changed in the last days of summer2007. My mother started pestering me to read a Harry Potter book since the start of summer. Her reason for pestering me was to make my english language better and to make me remember the correct spelling and use of the words so that I won't be influenced by my constant texting and chatting in the internet. I didn't listen to her, I still kept on texting, chatting and doing idle things. But, when summer's almost over and the first day of school is getting nearer, she threatened me that she won't give me my allowance for the first day of class because i still haven't read the Harry Potter book. Then, I started reading, at first, I found it really boring, but after a few chapters, I found the book better than the movie because the book is more detailed and really descriptive. That's when I realized that reading books is really interesting and entertaining, now, reading is my new hobby.
